Frequently Asked Questions
-
No! Local delivery and pick -up is Free!
-
Yes, in most cases someone over the age of 18 needs to be present to sign our terms of service and accept the delivery. If for some reason you will not be present, let us know in advance and we may be able to work out a special delivery if there is a safe space to leave the totes and dollies.
-
Each tote is equivalent to a large cardboard box and measures 27” by 17” at the top, 24.5” by 14.5” at the bottom, and 13” tall. In our experience, this is the perfect size for any move!
-
No problem! Simply let our team know before the pick-up date that you need to extend the rental window, and by how long, and we’ll make it happen. You will simply be charged extra for every week that you keep the totes beyond what you’ve already paid for.
-
You can cancel your order anytime up to 48 hours before the pre-scheduled delivery date for free. If you need to cancel within less than 48 hours notice, there is a $50 convenience fee. If you have already received the boxes and need to cancel your order post-delivery, that is fine too, we simply charge a $99 re-stocking fee.
-
Yes! Each of our totes are fully cleaned and sanitized between each move by our local team.
-
No. Toteing only provides totes and dollies, you are responsible for the move itself. Should you need a recommendation for a moving company to assist you, we have local partners that we would be happy to recommend and introduce.
-
Nope! Toteting is a door to door delivery service. That means we drop off your items at the nearest accessible point outside your home, apartment or business—typically your driveway, garage, or the door to your unit. We don’t carry items inside your location
